This year represents the centenary of the formation, in Salisbury, of Wilts & Dorset Motor Services.

Wilts & Dorset Centenary

Go South Coast is planning a series of events to mark the occasion and two of its Scania Omnidekka buses have been painted in heritage liveries.

1019 wears pre-war red and grey whilst 1020 is in 1950’s style Tilling red and cream. A nice touch is the way in which the name of the managing directors, Andrew Wickham, appears on the legal lettering. The time was when it was de rigueur for the boss’s name to appear on the sides of buses!
